Memorial Hermann Life Flight operates 4 Air Medical helicopters in the Southeast Texas area.  Life Flight flies American Eurocopter EC145 aircraft equipped with state of the art electronics and all weather capability.  All of our aircraft are twin-engine for increased safety as well as high performance.  Our helicopters are capable of two patient loads.  This is a key feature that only Memorial Hermann Life Flight helicopters have in the Greater Houston area.  Double loading patients is not the only advantage of Life Flight's aircraft, however.  The EC145 carries special mission equipment and medical personnel for Neonatal transports and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) patients, as well.  We are the only CAMTS Accredited, Air Medical Program in Southeast Texas to provide these critical services.  Below, you will find detailed information on our aircraft and photos to better illustrate our capabilities.
